The open-cell structure releases product in a controlled manner. It is no substitute for machine polishing when it comes to actual paint correction.

The open-cell foam structure absorbs product well and releases it in a controlled manner—this allows you to distribute compounds, polishes, waxes, sealants, as well as plastic and leather care products evenly without too much product escaping at once. Pro tip from Detailing1: A foam applicator is our standard for plastic and tire care because you can dose the product precisely instead of losing half the bottle in the fabric like with a cloth. Important: keep a separate applicator for each product type — the tire care sponge should never be used for polish. And wash it out immediately after use, otherwise wax or dressing residues will harden in the foam and make it unusable.

Application: Apply in overlapping paths

Apply the product to the applicator and apply in overlapping paths — e.g., "G1" Glossy, plastic or leather care. Buff to a final shine with a "Micron Buffing" cloth.

Limitations: Hand application, no paint correction

The applicator applies product and polishes by hand — true scratch and swirl correction requires machine polishing with "A1" All in One and suitable pads. For fine coating application, the "Micron Suede" is the more precise choice.

Cleaning

After use, wash out with "SM" Micron Shampoo and let air dry.
